Hello, My name is Valeri Ivanov. I have a problem with my Windows Vista Home Basic. I have had that problem since i have bought this computer and i would like to solve it.

The problem causes DEP (Data Execution Prevention). I can´t turn it off. I post a picture, so you could see where is the issue. ImageShack - Hosting :: 36756816cr1.jpg

As you can see, i have taken a screen print. You find three red boxes that i have marked.
I opened System menu. After that i pressed Advanced system settings button. After that computer asks administrator permission. I am an administrator so i allowed to continue.Opens new window. I press under Performance Settings button.Opens new window. Here is the problem. I can´t press these two buttons that are located up (Turn on DEP... and Turn off DEP...) But down this window you can see a 3. red box. And it says that i must be an administrator to use these settings. But in the 1st window i allready gave an administrator permission.
I want to know how can i turn off DEP. DEP closes most of the programs that i want to use. Even when i want to install a new program, it closes it. I don´t like that and i want to turn it off.

Sorry for my bad English. This is not my mother-tongue. I hope you understood what i said so please help me. When you answer, please use simple words so could understand everything.

PS. I have allready tried to turn DEP that way also: Vista: Disable DEP or NoExecute Protection to fix Explorer Crashing | Microsoft Vista | Tech-Recipes
But it didn´t help.
And i have installed Service Pack 1. It didn´t help also.

Please please please I hope someone can help me. I have a new computer for work and it runs on WIndows 7. I also had to upgrade to WIndows Livemail from Express. This is the problem I am encountering.

When a co-worker sends me an attachemtn it is on there computer as a Word document. Once I receive it, it is no longer a word documnet but a DOC file and my computer will not allow me to open it no matter what I try.

The error message i get states:

C:usersmynameappdatalocalmicrosoftwindowstemporary internet filescontent.IE5BXMV72R1thefilename.doc is not a valid Win32 application

I have no idea what to do! I am not good with computers so this is making things very difficult!!!

Hi everyone.

I'm using a new Toshiba laptop with Windows 7, and I have a problem with the CD/DVD drive that I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere.

Whenever I put a CD in the drive, W7 seems to think it's a VCD and begins trying to play it with Windows Media Player. This happens with every CD that I put into the drive that isn't software or a DVD etc. Specifically I'm trying to read old CDs that I know have lots of images on, but W7 is having none of it.

I've been into the auto play options and tried everything from turning autoplay off, telling the machine to ask me every time and even resetting to default, but nothing works. Even when I open the folders to look at the files W7 still thinks it's a VCD.

I've tried this on at least ten different discs that I know have pictures on, as they all load up fine on other machines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I have legal windows 7 & I had a problem with the activation, but I solved it already.

The problem I am facing right now is with the icons…

If I use my computer for long time I notice that any page I open in my computer doesn’t show the icons unless I use the (small icon) or (list)

If I try to see icons in an extra large size or even large size I don’t see any of them & all I can see is the name of the icon.

One more thing that if I stay long then I click on (computer) it doesn’t show any of my drivers or sometimes takes sooooo long for the green bar on top to finish then show me the icons

All those problems go if I restart my computer

Can anyone help me ASAP please??? L

Hadi

Hello All.
Please read completely. I m sorry for writing complete story but problem can not be solved without telling complete story.

I know there may be experts here. I need help from all of you.

I bought my Laptop few days ago. It was equipped with windows 7 ULTIMATE x64 with 6gb ram, 500 gb HDD.
The problem appeared all of a sudden when after few days, while doing work, i opened my User Folder and noticed that all data has been removed form it, including My Documents, Music, Pics, Downloads or what ever all includes in User Folder. And when i opened start menu, all program entries from start menu are also vanished out. But programs are still there in my Program Files folder in C drive.
Note: I have Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 with Updated Virus Definitions. So i don't think there is a chance of Malware activity with Updated Anti Virus.
Anyhow i managed to recover some of my Data with data recovery software. I i was unable to figure out what actually happened. I searched so far on Internet for it. Came to close the solution when some other person was with same situation and he also had done whatever i had done.
Now What I had Done?
I was starting my preinstallled Outlook Express 2010. (A program of Microsoft Office 2010 Suite). I did not responded and got doing setup for first use , i closed it from task manager and again tried to start it, Same condition. And i also tried to connect Bluetooth data transfer to some other laptop also. but it was failed. I restarted system and what happened is above problem i defined. User Folder empty and start menu empty. Programs unusable because all the setting was in User Folder but they still in Program Files Folder.

Huhhhhhhhhhhh, i reinstalled windows and restored my files that were recovered.
Just after few days, same problem happens, but this time, Everything is ok, but Start Menu was empty. I tried to restore but every restore point is not working as it is not completely restored , so i have to undo. remain at same situation.
This time, i m wandering that i had not installed even Microsoft Outlook Express. But i think problem may arise with driver Update from "Driver Max" software or CCLEANER Software i use, but i checked c cleaner thoroughly , but there is no option selected to clean start menu out. Another problem that i think may caused by me , that when scanning registry in c cleaner, it suggested invalid entries removal from registry that i removed all by c cleaner without backing it up.

I think c claner was suggesting "start menu entries clean form registry that lost conneciton with programs". This mean something happened before c cleaner that broke connection between shortcuts and original programs.

I m unable to figure out what is happening and what will happen if it keep doing same again and again after reinstalling windows also. There must be solution that where the hell problem occurs. What cleans start menu and User Folder. Is it Bluetooth problem.
Note again: I have again full scanned my computer to check if it is virus but no virus is found in any of my devices and PC.

Please EXPERTS , please please please help me. I m in trouble.
Thank you all in anticipation.

I cannot access internet via network on either my or anywhere else that has wifi point or a router. to simplicate matters, i live in an apartment and my roomies share a router. I can't open your dmp files properly. Is your system configured correctly to generate dmp files? Please check. When you mean 'reboot' the system do you mean a reinstall of the os or....

How to ask for help with a BSOD problem

Hi All,

Since about 10am this morning my PC has suddenly started suffering regular BSODs.

Attached are the things requested in sticky, plus some extra info.

The computer will start normally run normally for an hour or more then crash. The crash happens like this:

First whatever I am doing, gaming, photoshop, desktop will freeze. I try to bing up task manager but get an error saying it cannot open (see jpeg error01).

Then if I have the desktop visible all the icons dissappear, like when windows explorer crashes, then normally the PC will crash and either restart, or BSOD then restart.

The BSOD gives no direct info in capitals at the top, and there is no minidump file produced, even though things are configured like in the sticky.

Additional info:

No software installations or changes for a few days excpet updates (last installation the cry editor 4 days ago)

No hardware changes for a long time.

Antivirus - Microsoft securoty essentials.

Here are some additional images of errors that come up before the BSOD =

This just suddenly started happening today, apparently for no reason, I am worried it could be very serious... more than just a memory that needs replacing. (

PC =

GIGABYTE Motherboard Z68X-UD4-B3
Intel i7 2600K SB (x38 OC)
nVidia Geforce GTX 580 (normal clock)
16 GB RAM @ 1600Mhz
3 Drives (C: and F: drives crucial SSD, D: WD HDD)

Like I said, no changes or installations... the PC has been fine like this for ages. PC can also work fine for over an hour before any problems. RealTemp shows nothing out of the ordinary... PC is a little dusty, Ive been meaning to clean it, but its not THAT bad, I've seen far worse.

Please can someone help? I also just lost my job recently and have no income, so I really cant afford to take this to a store to get it looked at (

Thanks in advace,

http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...f4-181457.html

Could the battery dying really cause a crash after 30 mins or an hour after the PC has been turned on?

However through the whole thread, causes are cited as either, battery, RAM, HDD, or corrupt installation... which doesnt get a whole lot closer to an answer (just add faulty CPU or GPU and that covers everything!!)

There is also this which talks about the minidump file not getting saved correctly.

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...e-f92f1afff8fc

The problem is I am not sure I really understand what hes saying about it... is it something to do with my C:/ drive being an SSD drive? When my PC was put together a year ago the person who installed windows didnt bother changing IDE to ACHI in the bios, so I had to enable the drivers manually in the regisrty... but i did that well over six months ago and its been running fine.

Problems with windowsXP after updating to be SP2 (my Assumption)
There are some problems. I'm not sure that they might happen following to
updating to SP2 of my PC.
1. McAfee : the anti-virus program working slow while opening the OS
(windows operating system). Seem that it is not in response. Then have to
wait for over 3 mins to work as normal.
2. MY COMPUTER : when I browsed MY COMPUTER, it won't explore or browse PC
drives ( C: , A: , D:)
3. Recently, With IE Explorer 6.0 : I couldn't open some websites such as
this websit (www.microsoft.com) which I couldn't open directly except opening
via other website. I pressed "ENTER" button but It wouldn't browse the
website.
4. Recently again, I had a problem with saving files by using any
application. For example, IE (Internet Explorer) when I opened e-mails and I
wanted to download and save attached files on to PC. It couldn't be done.
Moreover, It stuck and couldn't work that IE window no more. I have to shut
and "END PROCESS" -- IEEXPLORER.exe by pressing ctrl+alt+del. It happened
everytime I want to do something like that. Another Application that couldn't
work in the same way is MSOffice (Everyone of MSOffice). That is the sadest
thing I've ever met.
5. Moreover, My printer (Canon MPC190 Printer) : It couldn't be printed out
no more. I'm not sure why this problem had to be happened. At first I thought
It might be caused from a mal-function of printer's driver but when I
re-installed the driver again, still couldn't order to print my work. It said
something about MPService (Unable to communicate with the device. Please
start "MPService" from the Services applet in the Control Panel. Then please
right-click on the StatusMonitor to reconnect and try again )which I checked
it already. I opened Control Panel and I chose "Administrative Tools" and I
double-clicked on Services Icon. It appeared with that there are many
services working and dealing with the system. I right-clicked at MPService in
that "Services indow. I selected "Restart". It restarted the MPService. It
seemed everything is going to be fine. Not yet, I had reconnect the device
again as it was said in the message box (said earlier). But it couldn't work
again. I don't know why then I uninstalled and installed the driver over like
4-5 time but still couldn't work. I don't think it has a problem with the
printer but with the driver or the application that is dealt with the printer
itself. The reason is because I have tried to connect USB(Printer's connect
cable) with other PC(like LAPTOP),it still works.

These are the problems that I'm dealing with right now. If anyone who read
this and have met with the same problems as I have. Please help me. And reply
me back or you can E-mail me at

I had a problem with my WinXP Pro taskbar. It didn't show my open
applications. I found a similar question posted by Steve and followed Alex
Nichol's advice and downloaded "Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!" and I thought it
worked perfect.

But when I re-started, I get all the buttons twice. My taskbar seems to be
split in several parts (other than the quick launch and clock parts) and all
open
applications have buttons in two of the parts. I tried to use the same
"Taskbar
Repair Tool Plus!" to "Restore to Default" but the repair button is greyed
out. I think that means that I need to buy a licence to use that option but
that is impossible for me. Is there anything else I can do to restore the
taskbar to what it's supposed to be like and remove the second button for
each application?

Thank you in advance.

P.S. I apologise for posting this question again but it fell way behind
(page 13) with no replies. I tried to bring it back to the top by posting a
reply myself but that doesn't work here.

Hi,
Every now and then, I have this problem that a download stream, is not shown until it has finished! This is unclear, so I give two examples:

I want to watch a YouTube video; after I open the video page, I see only the black video screen and it will take as long as the video is fully loaded and suddenly I see the video which is loaded until the end. I also have firefox addons to download YouTube video; they used to let me download the file as soon as I opened the page and the video started downloading, but not they also wait until the whole video is loaded! This is other one is much much worse than the previous one: I add a download link (anything, e.g. a file with direct link) into my download manager, and the output message from download manager is "SENDING GET ...." but when I check the BW meter, I see that the download is actually started with a single part and windows does not understand it and this will continue until the whole file is downloaded and then download manager says the file was downloaded without showing any progress while downloading it (Download manager cannot even get the size of the file and it downloads it as if it was a stream). So there is no way for me to use multi-threaded downloading.
The workaround for this problem is for me to restart my laptop, and the problem goes away. But I don't like to restart my machine too often, since I always have a lot of programs opened, and always try to hibernate.
I am not 100% sure, but I think the problem will come again as soon as I hibernate my system.

Please help me solve this problem, I am using windows 7 ultimate.

Hey everyone. I have a problem with my IE crashing anytime i get on Facebook. Most of the time when i move my curser over the tabs on the top, you get a drop down box. But these boxes never go away. When you close out the windows it tells me my IE stopped working. Or sometimes when clicking on something the box will come up saying windows has stopped. The window will not freeze, but is always operational until the box comes up telling you windows has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Facebook seems to be the only problem. I use Vista Ultimate 64.

I run no addons in IE. I have also added Facebook to my trusted sites in tools/internet options/security/trusted sites.

But if i go to facebook after opening an "in private browsing" tab, i don't see any problems like before.

Please, someone help me understand whats going on.

Hi everyone, I wasn't sure where else to put this, if it's in the wrong section please if there's any mod out there you can change it to where it might belong to.

Anyway, the issue I'm having is one of the strangest I've seen on an OS.
I all of a sudden had a problem with a certain game and a certain mod which I wanted un-installed but the only way to un=install it is to actually re-install the game.

So I went backed up my files and un-installed my game and then inserted the original game disc in the drive to re=install it.

Now a lot of weird things happen, it just takes too long for the autorun.exe to actually "run", so I go to Computer and check if the disc gets recognized, but the whole "Computer" window is blank...I just eject the disc tray and the whole window comes alive again.

So I try again with another game (also tried this with an anti-virus CD) and something similar happens except this time the whole window freezes and then tells me Explorer is not responding, so I choose to close it (since it's supposed to re-open again automatically) but even though it re-opens it's frozen.

I then had to shut down the PC by holding the power button, turned it on again and then windows loads but takes longer than usual and my wallpaper is missing (black screen) so I eject the disc again and everything is dandy. I put it in again and it takes forever for the autorun.exe to actually run and when it's about to a window asking me what to do (if I want to open the folder on explorer or I want to run "install.exe") and I choose to run Install.exe, which never works and again freezes explorer, I again eject the disc and it doesn't work.

I then restarted the PC and tried 2 different boot discs, one a Vista disc and another Linux live disc...they both work perfectly, also when Windows booted I tried discs that don't have any executables in them such as data discs, audio cds, movie/video DVDs and all of them work perfectly so it's not the drive.

I then tried a lot of other discs that have "exe" files on them and none of them work and show weird behaviour, games, applications etc...it seems Vista doesn't want or doens't know how to open an executable that's in a disc!

I have never seen this before so I kinda doubt anybody has had this problem, I also checked for Viruses and nothing...not even spyware or trojans or anything and I also went to my linux partition and all this discs get perfectly recognized as Windows software (as usual) and nothing's wrong with them or the drive at all it seems.

I can't install my game or anything at this moment that is on a disc (I also tried exploring and sometimes explorer tells me it's a blank disc! or otherwise it shows me the exectuable which I can't execute!).

If anybody can help with this rather odd problem I would appreciate it quite a lot! but I'm afraid I might have to re-install the whole thing, I just hope it let's me backup my stuff!

Hi. This is my first post here and I hope you guys can help me. I am not very good with computers but I know enough to get around. Recently my computer has been acting weird. When I try to put it in hibernation mode it will look like it has, but when I go to start it up it tells me my computer has recovered from an error. If it tries to go to sleep with the lid open, I get the blue screen of death. When I close the lid, it does the same thing I guess but I cant see the blue screen obviously. I am not sure why. I think this first started when I noticed that my network device took FOREVER to start up after I turn on my computer, and so I disabled the drivers under my network that said they weren't working. I tried re-enabling them after I started having these problems and it never helped. I am not sure how to fix the problems. Please help me

About to pull my hair out. My son and I have identical systems. His I have been fighting this last year with BSOD from USB Bug Code Drivers. Mine has not had any problems at all. On his - I have reinstalled Windows 7 a couple of times - replaced a video card that had gone out because when I opened the case I didnt realize one of the cords got stuck in the fan of the video card when i closed it up. Even replaced a bad RAM Card recently. I had used one of those commercial driver update programs with no success. For a while it would work without crashes IF we restored the system to the point before a microsoft update "Critical update". Each nite he would go to bed, and although regular Microsoft updates were turned off - this same "critical update" would load while we were sleeping. If he tried to play without restoring to the point before this occured.. well he would not be able to play without seeing BSOD from Bug Code USB Drivers. Recently - a friend of his tried to help updating some of those same drivers the commercial program I had updated but they had not saved a restore point before doing this. Computer crashes with even more BSOD than before = all are either USB bug code driver or the screen just goes black and has to restart the computer. He is mostly experiencing this Crash when he tries to play games such as WOW or tries to have more than 4 or 5 internet pages open at once. He should be able to have multiple games and multiple internet pages open like I do on my system (which is identical in every component - execept the new video card that we installed). Please help me! I am going to attempt to add the dmp files from the lastest crashes. If these are not posted correctly please list how it should be posted and please help!

Sincerely

Well.. its not letting me post the dump file.. any suggestions >.>

I have a problem with my display on my Lenovo T61 ! while surfing the net, and a browser already opened, my current browser starts to flicker on/off and reopens new browsers with the same page i'm using ! I know it sounds crazy, but i tried a fresh install to solve the problem (win 7), and the problem persists. I have the latest drivers for the system by means of windows update, and Driver Checker. Browser keeps refreshing constantly but allows me to continue using windows normally. Please help

Hi all I was wondering if anyone could help me as I haven't been able to find a thread with my problem.
I just put together a new system which includes...

Sapphire HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort HDCP PCI-E Graphics Card
AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 6MB Cache
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz XMS3 Memory Kit CL9 unbuffered
Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 880G Socket AM3 ATX Motherboard
Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache

I did a fresh install with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit which I have installed before with no problems on my previous computer.
Unfortunately this time I seem to get not graphics missing, but text missing off the screen from all right click menus and new open explorer/program windows!
I also seem to get "not responding" to installs of the ati graphics driver and other stuff when I try to install!
I have tried about 3 fresh installs but I get the same every time!
I have never used ati before, I have always been nvidia, so my thoughts are towards that as it is the new thing in my equation, but then again I'm not so tech savvy to make that assumption!.
I would reiterate though that the whole system is new off the shelf so a chance of a virus or trojan infection is virtually nil.
I think the hardware is probably the issue as I installed my copy of windows before with no problems... but which part is the question? as it seems to all boot up ok just missing the parts that I already mentioned.
Any help would be appreciated.
Any questions you need answering to help with answers, please ask and I'll respond straight away.
Many thanks peeps.

Yesterday I got this virus, I went and bought trend micro titanium and cleaned it up (was using a free30 day trial of something else) but I'm still having a problem.

Whenever I go to shut down or restart my computer, it starts doing it like normal, but right at the end I get this blue screen with a bunch of messages written, it last about 5 seconds while a countdown
happens at the bottom of the screen, then it restarts (even if I went SHUTDOWN) Sometimes minutes after i log back into the user, the blue screen comes up out of nowhere, does it's 5 second odd countdown and restarts.

I read on here somewhere that if i want someone to tell me how to fix it, I should get minidump files and send them here for you guys to look at, well here they are. the countdown at the bottom of the blue screen is called "crash dump" or something like that.

With the virus whenever I tried to open an internet explorer or google chrome window, all that would come up was "win 7 home security", I'm not getting that anymore though after doing the full scan with trend.

additional info. I have windows 7, my pc is a HP Pavilion laptop, model number is DV6 - 2144TX

Thanks in advance for any help.

Usually this blue screen problem come when you have following problems.
1. your Bios is out of date
2. hardware failure
3. Incompatible drivers installed.
i got the problem because of some Incompatible blue tooth driver installed. i uninstalled those driver and got rid off.

Hello, everyone.
My screen frequently breaks horizontally and turns into blue screen. In attempt to fix this problem, I changed my graphic card as well as my hard disk to SSD, and re-installed windows. But I'm still getting BSD now and then.
I attached my DMP file and event logs, could anyone analyze and find a solution for me? It's been giving me a headache for a long time now.

Thanks in advance!

Only 3 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 140 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

You have an ASUS USB-N13 300Mbps 11n Wireless USB dongle:
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful. We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:
There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website)
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
- Update chipset and storage controller drivers to the latest available from the manufacturer of the device (not the manufacturer of the motherboard). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard!
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch controllers also.
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.
It's my opinion that SSD's aren't reliable enough (with current hardware) to be used on a system that needs to work reliably. Until I see reliability I will not recommend, nor will I use, SSD's for critical applications.
06 Dec 2011 - This post tends to confirm issues with certain SSD chipsets and certain controllers - [SOLVED] cant find the cause of BSOD F4 - Tech Support Forum
29 May 2012 - The frequency of BSOD's with SSD's seems to have been decreasing over the last several months. It may be approaching time to re-evaluate my stand on their suitability for use in production systems.
10 Nov 2012 - I'm seeing an upswing in SSD errors - but most appear due to older storage controller drivers. I strongly suggest NOT using storage controller drivers that don't date from 2012 (if none are available, don't connect an SSD to that controller)
05 Jan 2013 - very interesting post about difficulties with the Marvell controllers even when not connected to the SSD drives: https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...tml#post169956 AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.
Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect. Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

The memory dump blames rtwlanu.sys - a driver component of your wireless USB network adapter:
rtwlanu.sys Tue Sep 6 02:38:48 2011 (4E65BFF8)
Realtek RTLxxxxx Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=rtwlanu.sys Please remove the device from your system and un-install it's software to test. Either use a long cable or a wireless card that plugs into your motherboard for internet access while testing.

If that proves to be the problem you can also try:
- download a fresh copy of the software for this device
- un-install the current software
- install the freshly downloaded software
- monitor for further BSOD's

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
