Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I use my Win 7 pc for recording using Cubase 6.5 and orchestral samples(all midi). I've been using a program called Vienna Ensemble Pro 5(VEP5)
and loading it with samples using East West Quantum Leaps samples using the PLAY 3 engine.
the app VEP5 started crashing with the error:
>Problem signature:
>Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
>Application Name: Vienna Ensemble Pro x64.exe

I've contacted the tech support for the VEP5 program and they say it's the PLAY3 GUI that's causing it. The makers of PLAY are unresponsive.
I've see things online about adding the program in DEP,I'm a little hesitant to mess with it. I've taken the PC offline, fully scanned for virus and removed all antivirus and turned off Windows Defender, which seemed
to fix the crashes until the other day,now they're back. Still offline.
The weird thing is originally when I installed VEP5 it was a trial version and it worked fine. When I bought it
nothing changes in the program but i changed my antivirus from Avira Premium to MSE and did the whatever windows updates were available that day.
Can't go back to a restore point because I didn;t set it up properly and my restore points only go back 3 weeks(it's been over a month).
here's my system specs

I'm running the startup version of Windows 7 on a new Toshiba NB205. Installed Essentials Mail and Photo Gallery and Mail works fine. Whenever I start up Photo Gallery withing 10 seconds or so it crashes after loading a number of thumbnails. I have repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled Photo Gallery and nothing helps. The following are the details of the crash:

Hi all,

A client of mine sent this to me for assistance, but I cant seem to get it working myself...any ideas why the code is debugging where indicated?

We Run a BEx report from excel but cannot paste a range of data (Material Numbers) to the bex range. If You copy it to Word, and copy it from word back it works

Hello there everyone.

It hasn't had serious ramifications on my computer so I ignored it at first, but it's starting to become a bit of a bother so I'm posting to see if anyone has encountered a problem such as this. It doesn't happen with every video I play, but occasionally while watching videos (most of the time .avi or .mp4) near the end of the video I get a window stating "Windows Media Player has stopped working" with the following problem details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BEX
Application Name: wmplayer.exe
Application Version: 12.0.7600.16667
Application Timestamp: 4c7dc5a1
Fault Module Name: JetMPGd.ax_unloaded
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 4bec50ee
Exception Offset: 0a0743d0
Exception Code: c0000005

OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3

Additional Information 3: 0a9e
Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

What I find to be strange about this problem is if I close Windows Media Player, re-open the file, and skip towards where the problem occurred, the video will continue through the problem spot to the end of the video. Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

In case it's needed, here are some of my specs.

Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 CPU Q720 @ 1.60GHz

Hello.
I'm trying to install Win7, but my installation fails every time.
I tried both installing from the CD, or copying and mounting the image and then installing.
After it copies the temporary files and it goes into the "Starting the Setup..." phase, I get this error message that "Windows Installation and Setup has Stopped Responding" (might be Stopped Working, just doing some translation here)
It says a certain error has caused the program to stopped working properly and windows will have to shut it down.

I've no idea what to do, Google doesn't help much as it seems I'm theonly one in the world with this problem.

This is the pulled data from the Window Problem Solution Center:

Help me out

With the great help offered on this site, I was able to port over the mail program from Vista to Windows 7. And it worked great. Suddenly it refused to open. I connected, and it asked if I wanted to go on line. Sure, fine with me. But it gave a message that it had to shut down. Do I want to find a solution online? Ok. It shut down. I get this error:

I'm running Office 2003 Pro, SP3, on Vista Home Premium 64, SP2. Whenever I access the Help menu in any of the Office applications, either from the menu bar or from F1, the application crashes. The crash message from, for example Word, is as follows:

I've completely uninstalled Office and the reinstalled the suite. I run the same installation on other Vista 64 machines with no problem. Any suggestions will be appraciated. Thanks.

I have experienced a really strange problems in the past week or two when sending HTML emails from directly within various applications, but not when compiling the email and adding attachment from within Outlook 2010 itself. In addition Excel will crash when sending the email if Outlook is not running at that time, unlike other apps.

The scenario is that When I am working with Word 2010, Excel 2010 or a pdf editor then wanting to send an email directly from within the application by File, Save and Send, Send as attachment, the Outlook 2010 email message window pops up, I write my email message in HTML then send it. All seems OK until a client or colleague contacts me to say thanks for the attachment but the email body is blank, what was my message?!

When I then go and check the sent folder then sure enough, the email HTML text has been stripped out but the attachment is still there. So the problem seems to be on my side not theirs.

I noticed yesterday that on one simple Excel 2010 file which I created about a week ago, did a test send from within Excel but in addition to this problem the actual contents of the cells disappeared from view! Completely blank cells!

After sending to one of my email addresse when I opened the Excel attachment it was completely blank in addition to the email message body being blank. I then checked in Hotmail for this particular email account, clicked to view the attachment within my IE9 browser window from Skydrive and hey presto, I can actually view the Excel content that was missing!!! The actual email body text viewed within Hotmail remains missing however. I only noticed this problem on one excel file so far. Tried with Gmail and Office 365 accounts as well.

There are varous email accounts, all with the same problem, so it is a local problem. Main acocunt is Office 365, then I have a couple of live.com email acocunts with Connector, then one Gmail with IMAP. All the same problem so it seems to be local. Tried clearing with outlook.exe /cleanserverrules but same problem.

This problem only exists when sending HTML emails, not plain or RTF, and only when sending an email from within Excel, Outlook, my pdf application, etc. So it is not appearing to be Office specific but Outlook specific and only for sending html text emails in this scenario. If I send an html email with attcheent from within the main session of Outlook it seems to work OK. I send a lot of HTML emails with various docs directly from my applications and so this is a pain for me. More importantly I need to understand what is casuing it, what possible corruption, and how to fix it without a full re-install hopefully.

One other related problem is that if an attachment is emailed from Excel with Outlook 2010 not running then Excel will crash, but the email will get sent. The error message on Excel crashing is -

Problem Event Name: BEX

Application Name: EXCEL.EXE

Application Version: 14.0.6117.5003

Application Timestamp: 4f622ef8

Fault Module Name: pstprx32.dll_unloaded

Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0

Fault Module Timestamp: 4f31f7ad

Exception Offset: 67ce7196

Exception Code: c0000005

Exception Data: 00000008

OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3

Locale ID: 1033

By the way, these problems remain when AV is disabled.

AV is Webroot Secure Anywhere (formerly Prevx).

Firewall is standard Windows 7

OS is Windows 7 32bit HP on this particular laptop which is a Dell 1220 running dual 2.2 ghz and 4 MB RAM and plenty of diskspace.

Update - I did a removal of the AV, repaired the OS via the DVD "upgrade" option, did a repair on Office 2010, even tried with a new profile but the problem repeated. The Excel contents disappearing has stopped, at least for now, but the blank html email and crashing Excel remains.

Any clues or solution most welcome, thanks. This problem has also been posted on MS Technet and 55 bright sparks have viewed the problem but not a single suggestion!
